Hosts and Organizers

GSDI Association

The GSDI Association promotes international cooperation and collaboration in support of local, national and international spatial data infrastructure developments that will allow nations to better address social, economic, and environmental issues of pressing importance. It is an inclusive non-governmental, non-profit international organization of organizations, firms, and individuals from around the world formed exclusively for educational, scientific, and research purposes. The GSDI Association (1) serves as a point of contact for those in the global community involved in developing, implementing and advancing spatial data infrastructure concepts; (2) fosters spatial data infrastructures that support sustainable social, economic, and environmental systems integrated from local to global scales, and (3) promotes the informed and responsible use of geographic information and spatial technologies for the benefit of society. See the proceedings of GSDIs past international conferences.
