Description

The symposium will take place in Dresden from the 14^th to 15^th May 2010. The event marks the tenth annual presentation of the Saxonian GIS-Forum. The European Public Sector Information platform will be participating in the symposium. The Geospatial SAXONY - IGN e.V. blog as a service to the network served provides aggregates of relevant news feeds and this includes the European PSI Platform news. The IGN has maintained over the 10 year period a keen interest in the implementation of the European Union Directive 2003/98/EC and has initiated during that time a number of surveys within different German communities to test the awareness of German PSI re-use stakeholders. The results of these surveys were fed into the ePSIplus Thematic Network (the immediate predecessor of the European PSI Platform).
