Ruimte voor Geo-Informatie (RGI or Space for Geo-Information) is a non-profit organization supporting the Space for Geo-Information (RGI) program. The mission of the Space for Geo-Information is: To improve and innovate the National Geo-Information Infrastructure and the geo-knowledge field in the Netherlands to ensure adequate and efficient management and a strong business community. With an investment of 20 million euros, the Space for Geo-Information (RGI) innovative program promotes projects in which geo specialists and users collaborate. |

EUROGI is an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit umbrella organization representing the European geographic information community with a mission to maximise the availability and effective use of geographic information throughout Europe. EUROGI attempts to increase awareness by all potential beneficiaries of the value of geographic information, influences best practice in the creation and use of geographic information by facilitating understanding and encouraging collaboration between national GI Associations and provides professional and balanced advice to those who commission and need European geographic information, particularly to those in the public sector. |
