Quebec City

Quebec City, founded by Samuel de Champlain in 1608, is one of the oldest cities in North America and is the capital of the Canadian province of Quebec. It is the second most populous city in Quebec after Montreal and the historic district of Old Quebec was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. The ramparts surrounding this district are the only remaining fortified city walls still existing in the Americas north of Mexico. (Source: Wikipedia). While the official first language is French, almost everyone on the street also speaks English.

See the official tourism web site for plenty of activities during your breaks at the conference.
