Further Fee Reductions or Grants

GSDI Conference registration fees are scaled based on approximate ability to pay in order to encourage and allow participants from impoverished nations to participate in the conference and its affiliated training workshops and meetings. In addition, the locations of the GSDI Conferences are moved around the world in order to allow people from different regions of the globe to attend a major international conference in their own region at minimal expense.

If you would like to receive consideration for an additional grant to further reduce your registration fee or to help potentially with travel expenses, please apply for a Conference Support Grant. Such grants are more likely to be awarded to participants from South America and the Caribbean since the funds will stretch further. They are also more likely to be awarded to participants who have an accepted paper or poster or are from an impoverished nation. The amount to be awarded is largely dependent on the amount of funds received from donors.
