The local organizing committee will be responsible for organizing and successfully holding GSDI-9 in Chile, and is based at the Military Geographic Institute of Chile (www.igm.cl).

It will be presided over by the Director of the IGM acting as its president, together with a General Secretary, the Executive Secretariat and five Committees.
