The
GSDI-9 Conference will be held at the
Historical
& Military Museum,
Blanco Encalada Nº 1550, Santiago. |
The
Conference will be held mainly in the Rooms and chambers
of the Historical
& Military Museum,
located in the center of the city of Santiago, in the
main street on which this metropolis centers.
Very close to the “Toesca” station of line
Nº 2 of the city subway. |

The
opening ceremony will be followed by a reception, open
to all participants. |
This convention center has large, well-equipped Conference
chambers, with varying capacities ranging from about 2,000
people to smaller rooms holding between 50 and 20 people.
Almost all the rooms have microphone / sound equipment
and also have systems for simultaneous interpretation
from English to Spanish and Spanish to English. There
will also be wireless Internet connection in the main
rooms and some passageways and halls. |

The
other meetings associated with the conference
proper will be held over the 3rd to the 5th
and the 11th of November. These
will be held at the MILITARY GEOGRAPHIC INSTITUTE,
Avenida Nueva Santa Isabel 1640, near “Toesca”
subway station on Line 2.
