As part of the collaboration between GSDI and FIG under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the organisations, and in line with this, the establishment of the FIG Taskforce on Spatially Enabled Societies (SES), it was agreed that a publication on SES would be produced to further contribute to the concept of SES internationally.
