13th GSDI World Conference (Spatially Enabling Government, Industry and Citizens)

Québec City, Canada, 14-17 May 2012

I would like to invite you to the 13th GSDI World Conference. This year’s conference is held in conjunction with the 14th GEOIDE Annual Scientific Conference, the 7th 3DGeoInfo Conference, and the 2012 Canadian Geomatics Conference, and is jointly organised by GSDI, GEOIDE, the Canadian Institute of Geomatics and the University of Laval.

The GSDI conferences have developed in parallel with the vision and objectives of the GSDI, using SDI as the bridge towards the current focus on spatial enablement. This year’s theme of ‘Spatially Enabling Government, Industry and Citizens’ resonates with the GSDI’s aim of furthering understanding of the concept of spatial enablement and how it can be applied to governments and societies to help improve productivity, efficiency and to achieve sustainable development.
