GSDI at INFOTER 5 Conference

The Hungarian IT Pro Society Association and the ICT Association of Hungary held the INFOTÉR 5 Conference at the Anna Grand Hotel in Balatonfüred from 5-7 November 2014. This was the fifth such national event for ICT in the government and NGO sectors, as well as enterprises with a stake in building an ICT society. This year's event was special as it took place at the start of a new government term and EU budget period.

URISA's Vanguard Cabinet (VC) is hosting a Google Hangout on Wednesday evening, November 12 at 8:00 PM Eastern (7 PM Central/6 PM Mountain/5 PM Pacific) in order to give young GIS professionals an opportunity to learn more about the VC and the 2015 application process.

URISA GISCorps Committee Newsletter for November

This has been an extremely busy and fruitful quarter for URISA's GISCorps and its amazing volunteers! We have been engaged in nine new projects, completed two missions and are processing new requests on a regular basis. The total number of projects is now at 154 with over 530 volunteers deployed to over 50 countries around the world.
